Horizon stands out as one of the most stunning locations in the Southern Province. Nestled within a 3-hectare expanse, this site stretches along the valley, embraced by steep slopes. Pineapples thrive on its fringes, and a charming avenue of avocado trees guides your way down to the site. While it sits at an elevation of 1680 meters, the neighboring farms reach heights closer to 2000 meters.

A network of 1200 dedicated farmers contributes their cherry harvest to this station, all within a mere 2 kilometers from Horizon. Farm sizes vary, with an average of 7000 trees (3 hectares), and some as modest as 100 trees, often interspersed with other crops. In 2019, marking the station's return to production, it processed 450 tons of cherry. As we near the conclusion of the 2022 season, the total production is expected to reach an impressive 1000 tons.

It's worth noting that every single one of these 1200 farmers is a proud member of the ATP. They benefit from the station's eco-friendly approach, receiving organic fertilizer made from recycled cherry pulp. This innovative process involves fermentation with lime and molasses to create EM2, nurturing their crops sustainably.
